Like the 'pick one' question above, multiple response questions (especially in surveys) might not have a correct answer. In this case, use 'mark all that apply' or for short 'mata.'

Most multiple response questions have more than one answer. In fact, MC questions have radio buttons which only allow one correct response, where as MR questions have check boxes allowing for individual selection. So how do you set a MC to look like a MR; code the answer as value:value. For example, the following question's answer key is B:B
450. The earth is the _____ planet in our solar system.
a. second
b. third
c. fourth
B:B
wrong="The correct sequence is Venus, Earth, Mars."
right="You know your inner planetary system well."
The last MR question variation is the sequence. This option let's you move boxes into some order.
460. Put the following planet names in order from inner to outer orbits.
a. Mars
b. Venus
c. Earth
B:C:A sequence

Likert question types
This is a five (5) point range likert scale question.
500. Rate your pain level
likert range=5 "None" "Worst pain I ever had"
Same question but now on a eleven (11) point range likert scale question.
510. Rate your pain level
likert range=11 "None" "Worst pain I ever had"
Recently added to inQsit is the likert slide question type. This is the same question, but with a slide instead of radio buttons. It detects up to 200 points within the range that you specify. This question will be on a scale of 1 to 10.
520. Rate your pain level
likert slide range=10 "None" "Worst pain I ever had"
We'll ask the question again, but this time set the initial position in the center of the line. That would be 5.5 or (10-1)/2+1.
530. Rate your pain level
likert slide range=10 "None" "Worst pain I ever had" initial=5.5
Although not a true likert question, the likert table is very often used in surveys.
540a. Target
likert table range=3 "Rarely or Never" "1-4 times a month" "2 or more times per week" title="How often do you visit these stores?"
540b. KMart
likert table range=3
540c. Wal-Mart
likert table range=3
540d. Mejier
likert table range=3
540e. Penney's
likert table range=3
540f. Sears
likert table range=3
pick 3 of next 3
I can randomize the order within the table using the pick n of next m option.
In this example, the first three stores will be in random order, the fourth store (Mejier) will always be in that position, and the last two stores will be randomly ordered.
550a. Target
